For Filipinos who are planning to visit and tour the beautiful country of Botswana a visa is required. Requirements for applying a tourist visa is very easy,  however, they don’t have an Embassy or a Consulate office in the Philippines.

Here are the things you need to do when you apply for a visa. 
Please be reminded that all documents must be scanned emailed to the Botswana Embassy in Tokyo,Japan.

Requirements: 
    1.Dully completed Application Form with colored passport            size photograph (scanned).
     2.Travel itinerary
     3.Hotel bookings/Letter
from the host
     4. Passport copies (normally the first 3-4 pages of your passport)
     5. Letters of Recommendation from the Host
        (
if on Business Trip)
     6. Application Letter (letter
explaining the trip details)
Application Fee: 
Kindly pay the visa fee through your bank (Japanese Yen 5.850) around Php 2500.00(used XE as the currency converter) and
send them the proof of payment. 
They will proceed to process your visa application
and when it has been approved, they will let you know so that you can send the
original passport by courier.

note that the Visa fee is non-refundable

How long does it take to process your visa? 

It will take 7-14 working days for the Visa to be processed.
