Delicious Milk Teas and More at Affinitea.

These days, there seems to be no escaping the summer heat. Everywhere you go, its hot!

One weekend, I was driving around Bacoor, Cavite to meet some friends. It was a terribley hot day that even the aircon in the car was not enough to cope, the car could reach it's boiling point. So, I decided to look for a place to cool down and I found Affinitea!

I am always intrigued with milk teas as it's now it appears to be gaining popularity in our country. That is why I decided to give this one a try.

Arrived just after lunch when it's not too busy and immediately asked for their best sellers. I needed something that would cool me down. They told me that the Oreo Milk Tea was their best seller. I wasn't sure of the Oreo at first but since it's one of their best sellers, I gave it a shot!

I like this idea where customers can just post anything on this board and
write their favourite Affinitea drink. I think it's cool!

Here goes my Oreo Milk Tea.

I love it! I was completely surprised how the Oreo cookies blended with the milk tea. It really was a delicious drink for me. I find it not too sweet as well which is good.

I want to try something savoury along with my drink,
so I ordered their Chicken Empanada.

It's a yummy Chicken Empanada for less than 50.00 Pesos.

The place is also very spacious and the green colour
actually gave the room a calm atmosphere.

Aside from their teas, you can also try their other drinks.
They seem very affordable to me.

Before I drove home, I knew I would be faced with a heavy traffic and extreme heat again. So I ordered another drink. This time, I tried one of their Herbal Drinks which is the Immunity Booster Wheatgrass with Wild Honey.

It was a very refreshing drink and kept me calm during the entire trip.
I definitely did the right thing to stop here at Affinitea.

Savouring it to ensure it lasted the entire trip. I made it home safely and had my friend
taste it and he liked it too!

Affinitea really offers a great a variety of drinks like milk teas, herb drinks,
smoothies, and many more. There are so many other drinks to try and
I can't wait to taste them all. Thanks Affinitea!
This was definitely a great find!

Bag of Beans Coffee Shop, Restaurant & Bakery - One Of The Best Breakfast Stops in Tagaytay City.

After my friends ran the 21km Uphill Challenge from General Trias to Tagaytay City we thought it would be a great option to stop somewhere and have breakfast as a treat after finishing a half marathon. So the hunt for a good breakfast place in Tagaytay began.

Then, we found Bag of Beans. The place is normally very busy but parking was not too difficult to find. Luckily, that morning was not that busy yet and we found ample parking spaces located to the side of the restaurant.

Bag of Beans is very easy to find.
For you to find it easier, I have attached a map.

Don't leave without buying their roasted coffee beans.
Aside from coffees, they also have breads for sale.

Flavored roasted coffee beans.

Going down to their restaurant, it was like walking down the stairs into a different world away from the busy streets of Tagaytay and bustling noise of Manila. Being inside felt very calm and the feeling of nature giving you a hug.

They also have different functions rooms available.

The ambiance was so nice. A great place just
to contemplate and appreciate everything

With the different colored lamps hanging from that tree, I wondered how
it looks in the evenings.

Bag of Beans is very famous with their coffees and
we could not wait to try their Barako Coffee.

Checking on their menu, there were so many to choose from. I was craving for a nice pancake so I ordered a Blueberry Pancake and my friends ordered a Banana Walnut Pancake.

For a coffee addict like me and for someone who woke up at 3am because of the run, bottomless was a great choice. And for that price, I couldn't ask for more!

You can also check the other choices on their menu.

While waiting for our breakfast, I walked around Bag of Beans. I really liked the whole atmosphere of the place. You have huge trees covering and giving cool shade so eating outside there was a pleasant breeze in spite of the dappled sun in the courtyard.

Dining areas were all different and it all felt very homey.
This is perfect for big group dinners.

And my bottomless Barako had arrived. We were also given hot milk
along with the sweeteners or sugar. (Php120.00 Bottomless)

Soon after, our delicious looking pancakes arrived. Yum yum yum!

This is a Blueberry Pancake.
(Php195.00)

Banana Walnut Pancake.

Bag of Beans also offers buffet breakfast and brunch. I didn't walk along the food area but this shows you how famous their buffet breakfast is.

Buffet Breakfast costs Php 462.00 net while
Brunch Buffet costs Php 572.00 net.

This place is not massive compared to any other restaurants in Tagaytay and maybe that's also one reason why I liked this place a lot. You don't have that feeling that food is always served or prepared to cater for big crowds..

This place is perfect for everyone. Now we all know why there are so many cars parked
around Bag of Beans and sometimes causing additional traffic issues in the always crowded Tagaytay.

People come to Bag of Beans not just because of their delicious food,
great tasting Barako coffees but also the ambiance of the place which
 is a dream come true.

Were we happy with our breakfast? Super!
So when you visit Tagaytay City again, check out Bag of Beans!
