This was my first run in 2014 and I was excited to be part of this event because of the good comments I heard from last year.
I liked their registration procedure. It was easy for all the runners to register and claim their race kits.
We arrived early at the ASEANA.
Finding a space to park was a bit difficult to find but after making a few turns we finally found one.
It was always good to run with friends.
I wish I could take more pictures during the run, but I was also trying to break my record of 2 hours and 30 minutes in the half-marathon category.
I heard that there were over 20,000 runners who participated at this event. That is huge!
I crossed the finish line with a time of 2 hours and 26 minutes. I was very happy with my time!
The route was good but coming back was a bit hectic since the road was also shared with other categories.
I know it was dangerous, but sometimes running
outside the barricades or cones was the best thing to
do since I didn't want to slow down my pace and
I was also trying to catch up with the time.
It was a festive morning and
you can feel the endorphins kicking !
I really enjoyed my first run in 2014. I also find the event very organized. Congratulations 7-11!
After the run, people were also looking at some freebies given by their generous sponsors.
Looking forward again for next year's race!
Nice to meet friends after the run.
Congratulations to all of us!
Time to celebrate with the
PAR (Pinoy Aspiring Runners) family!
